      Description

      As a reseller/marketplace owner I would like to be able to distinguish between fulfilment centres of the Products.

      TD:
      We already have concept of multiple Warehouse objects linked to Shop, this can be basis for Fulfilment centres concept. The challenge is that currently availability is defined by the Product entity which places restrictions on how product fulfilment (availability) mode and also some of the modes do not require SkuWarehouse entity to be present.

      Proposed revised model for inventory management is to move the fulfilment configurations (product availability) to SkuWarehouse which gives the option to define fulfilment options per warehouse and thus configure different fulfilment options for Shop (in an environment with shared master catalog PIM). This presents several challenges as inventory management and order splitting will need to be revised.
      Using SkuWarehouse as the grounds for determination of product availability also presents opportunity to implement product entitlements, whereby additional restrictions can be placed on who can access the stock data.

      1. revise order splitting mechanism
      2. revise inventory reservation, allocation
      3. create fulfilment centre order views
      4. revise linking between order delivery and warehouse
